Various Range Of Series Of Callaway 3 Wood On The Market

by Bob Thompson

Every golfer has a different swing as as such the Callaway 3 wood range has four different types of clubs in this club bracket. The most well known of these is probably the Big Bertha Diablo, there are also the X-Hot, the FT and the FT-i Squareway. Below I will describe the main benefits of each club and it’s defining feature, I will also talk briefly about when to use a wood and some common features of them.

The Big Bertha Diablo range has a strategically shaped clubhead and this assists in providing a longer and more accurate shot.

With the FT-i Squareway an inertial design has been implemented which allows for better action during your swing such as less twisting. The weight has been placed at the corners of the club head this means that you will always hit the ball with the full club face.

The X-Hot is designed to increase accuracy in hitting the ball the sole is split into two sections hich creates a smoother movement within the stroke. This design is exclusive to the Callaway X-Hot series.

The Callaway FT series of clubs are created using a variety of metals this allows for greater callibration of the center of gravity of the club head and thus an even sweeter sweet spot resulting in increased trajectory and shaping of the shot.

The loft of a three wood is generally around 13 to 15 degrees, this means the face of the club is at an angle between these values away from the vertical plane. A amateur golfer should find they are able to use a 3 wood to get a ball to a distance of around 250 yards away from them. The three wood should be used when a driver is not appropriate, when the ball lies just off the fairway or has a good lie within the rough.

Golf club have become very technical innovations these days and as such a lot of science goes into creating them. Many clubs achieve different outcomes so the best way to discover which club is the one for you is to just try them all out, there’s no better way.

There are two main types of metal used for 3 wood clubs these being a titanium alloy or steel. Titanium provides greater power within the shot to due its lighter weight however it is more expensive than steel.

The same metal compounds are used for fairway wood club heads as well. These woods increase in loft the higher the number of wood. This means that a 5 wood has more loft than a four wood and a four wood has more than a three wood. The more loft a wood has the higher the ball will travel in the air which means it will travel a shorter distance down the fairway.

The 1-wood is longest club a golfer can use, there are 2-woods manufactured but it is rare to find a golfer who uses one therefore the 3-wood is usually the second biggest club in a golf bag. The advantage of using woods instead of drivers is that they have smaller heads and are easy for beginners to start out with when striking a ball off the tee.

Golf Instruction Book - A Value Effective Manner To Improve Golf Coaching

by Lucky Murwanthi

If changing into a better golfer is top on your list of priorities, you are in luck as there are a selection of various things that you’ll be able to do to accomplish this feat. Whereas many individuals spend a nice deal of cash investing in things like swing aids or professional golf lessons, there are positively more cost economical ways in which to excellent your swing and improve your golf game.

A golf instruction book is one such technique of improvement, as a high quality book will show you all of the techniques that you wish to find out to succeed. Golf will not have to be a tough game and if you’ve got access to a book written by someone who knows what he or she is talking about, you should definitely exploit this knowledge.

The first issue that a golf instruction book will tell you is that you would like to clean your mind of all major distractions. This can be a standard problem for golfers, as many believe that they have to be thinking about every individual movement beforehand. This, however, merely causes these individuals to over think their stroke and once a golfer is thinking too much, she or he is much more likely to have an ugly swing. If you have ever seen someone like Charles Barkley swing a golf club, you will know precisely what it can do after you over think things.

The next thing that a golf instruction book can do is show you where your body should be at each stage of the swing. If just one half of your body is out of place, your rhythm can be thrown off and you may run into important problems. Eventually, this rhythm can become second nature but when you are first starting out, you definitely will not have the flexibility to keep everything in line all the time. So long as you’re in a position to correct these mistakes, but, your golf game can positively improve.

A golf instruction book could be a value efficient approach to improve your swing in a very matter of some short days. You’ll not have to meet up with an overpriced golf professional as you’ll have access to any or all of the same data within the comfort of your own home. Most of those golf pros are simply folks who could not build the tour anyway therefore when it comes right down to it, they’re at the same level to you and have no business teaching you.

Golf Tips For Teeing Off in Top Shape

by Meryl Wheeler

The winter months can pose a challenge for golfers to stay mentally and physically fit for the impending season. Becoming a couch potato while waiting for the snow to melt and the sun to shine, is not the ideal way to transition back into season. In order to prevent injuries and enhance your golf game in the summer a commitment to a fitness program in the winter is key.

Implementing a golf specific fitness program in the off season that includes strength training, flexibility & mobility training and cardiovascular conditioning at least three times a week can decrease injury or re-injury risk and improve golf performance. This is important as the golf swing requires a lot of effort and power that creates a large amount of stress on your body. If you begin the season with weak, inflexible, and unconditioned muscles you are setting yourself up for injury - especially to the structures in your low back where you rely on complex movements such as flexion, rotation and extension during your swing.

Decreasing injury isn’t the only benefit to increasing your physical fitness in the off season. Let’s look at why strength training golf specific muscles is key. The power to initiate your swing comes from your leg muscles. The ability to transfer that power to your torso is the function of strong and stable core muscles (back & abdominals). For club head control and accuracy upper extremity strength comes into play (rotator cuff, scapular stabilizers, biceps, triceps).

Flexibility & Mobility training is a very important component to improving your golf swing and decreasing the risk of injury. A flexibility program should focus on overall body mobility and stretching. Specific areas to target include the hips, hamstrings, upper and lower back, and shoulders. Core stabilization exercises incorporating fit-balls, yoga, or pilates should also be included. Stretching exercises should follow a warm up, and be included in the cool down phase of your conditioning program.

Improved cardiovascular conditioning will enable you to maintain your energy levels and stay focused for 18 holes. Increased cardiovascular fitness will decrease your risk of early fatigue and burn out on the back nine. The key to maintaining your commitment to a conditioning program is to pick something you will enjoy. Brisk walking, biking, elliptical trainers, and playing squash are all great examples of cardiovascular activities.

The combination of all three of these training principles (strength, cardio, flexibility) implemented into your off season fitness program will not only help you mentally while you wait for the season to begin, but will more importantly help reduce your risk of injury, enhance your motivation, and best of all improve your golf game!

Tips for Winter Conditioning:

* Always consult with a physician to assess your current health before beginning a fitness program
* Find out our physical limitations by booking a golf fitness performance assessment with a professional
* Begin by writing down your goals - them commit to starting or maintaining a golf specific fitness program
* Use your local indoor golf facilities to hone your skills
* Use the off season to improve your swing - talk to a golf professional
* Include sport specific skills such as practice swings into your fitness program
* Become a great putter in the off season - work on accuracy, speed and stroke indoors
* Work on your mental game - learn how to visualize effectively
* Monitor any aches & pains. Don’t let minor injuries become major. Visit a health professional for advice

Glow Necklace & Glow Stick Light Up Tee box, Hazards, Green And Night Golf Flags

by Al Milagro

Want to add more fun to the ordinary golf game, try night golf with light up products including glow necklaces and glow sticks. Businesses pack client appreciation events with inviting clients to a nice sunny summer day of golf outing. While daytime golfing might be when the game is normally played, adding a twist by playing night golf after sunset, may leave some unique experience to your key clients, with the help of glow necklaces and glow sticks.

Night golf is pretty new. The main advantage is it works with most people’s schedule. With golf game getting more and more popular, sometimes it’s hard to book a course without advanced booking. Night golf, however, has the advantage of avoiding work hours. Families can also join the game so everyone can have some fun. And the experience is new, with glow in the dark products, glow sticks, glow necklaces and badges. It used to be that players had to bring flash lights for playing at dusk or dawn. Now with the course lighted up with spreading glow sticks, no need to bring flashlights.

The 18 holes night golf can be split into two sessions. After playing 9 holes, people can convene for buffet dinners and presentations and then finish the remaining 9 holes. Bright glow sticks such as 6″ and 12″ long green sticks are used to outline the fairways, tee box, green and hazards. The holes are lighted up with 22″ glow necklaces curled inside. And glow-in-the-dark golf balls and glow necklaces are handed out to each of the players to play and wear.

Obviously no matter how many glow necklaces you wear and glow sticks put in the course, night golf visibility is not going to be able to compare with sunlight during the day. That’s why night golf is more challenging and requests more skills from the player.

And then in the 19th hole back in the clubhouse, glow sticks, LED barware & glow necklaces will add to the celebration and festivity. Have an unforgettable night golf experience with glow necklaces and glow sticks.

Can Online Golf Lessons Lead To Better Golf?

by Steven Watts

Even in a soft economy, golf is still growing. The game is great and a sport that be started at any age. However, the frustration of not playing well is a big challenge. Lessons with a Golf Professional are costly so many people who play, never really play to their potential. With online golf lessons you can improve your play and with consistent practice become more competitive.

Before you start, try to have a couple of props for your use. A full length mirror will be really handy to show you how you are progressing. Remember that repetition is the key to a good golf swing. However, before you even swing the club, there are a couple of fundamental issues to address.

When taking online lessons, you will only learn if you understand a couple of basic rules. First of all, your balance is truly one of the most important parts of a golf swing. When you are addressing the ball, spread your legs to about the same width as your shoulders. Golf is an athletic sport so get into an athletic position. Your knees should be bent a little and your back should be flat.

This position, when you look in your mirror will put you into a comfortable and strong position. Your grip is the next important area. There are basically 3 grips to choose from. An interlocking grip will lock your last two fingers for stability. The baseball grip is the most comfortable, but the least consistent. The overlap grip is most widely used and gives you the best control of the club.

Once you have those two areas under control, watch your online lesson and head to the local range. Before you start hitting full shots with your new refined talents, hit some short shots with half and three quarter swings. This way you will develop some comfort and confidence. Then hit some shots from a tee to get more confidence. One thing that will be strongly reinforced with your online lessons will be to finish the swing. Follow through is very important.

If you are truly serious about improving, consider having a set of clubs made for you. A set of custom clubs are designed to take your build, any physical condition and your physical make up, into consideration. Having these from the beginning can go a long way to helping your improvement.

There are two theories about the clubs you should learn with. Many suggest that a custom made set will bode you better. If you can afford to have clubs made, the builder will take into consideration any physical limitations that you may have and the set will be a perfect fit to your size and shape. Technically, you may not need new clubs for years to come.

So, practice is the key. You online golf lessons can give you the fundamentals to start playing and improving. However, if you plan on getting a lot better, you need to be on the range. Develop your confidence with practice. Develop your game by becoming comfortable with your swing. Concentrate on getting stronger with your tee game and fairway game, then concentrate on chipping and putting. Then when you hit the links, you will have a much more enjoyable time.

Welsh Rugby Shame Over Golf Buggy Drink Driving Fiasco

by Tom Doerr

Welsh international Rugby player Andy Powell has been arrested by South Wales police after being caught drink driving a Golf Buggy taken from the team hotel in which he was staying. The player was charged for “driving a mechanically propelled vehicle whilst unfit through drink” under the road traffic act 1988.

Powell, 28, was taken into custody before 6am at a motorway service station three miles from the club’s national hotel in the Vale of Glamorgan. The back-row forward had reportedly taken the 15mph vehicle after an all night drinking binge with his teammates and driven it down the hard shoulder of the motorway in order to find food as the hotel was not serving breakfast until 7am.

“Powell has been suspended from the squad for behaviour contrary to the squad’s code of conduct”. A representative for the Welsh Rugby Union has stated.

The news has re-sparked at discussion as to what constitutes a mechanically propelled vehicle as this legal grey area is up for interpretation when prosecution is concerned. There is no strict alcohol limit for these vehicles which leaves the definition of ‘unfit’ to speculation.

Nick Freeman, commonly known as ‘Mr Loophole’ commented that “this could lead to an anomaly where someone is driving a mechanically propelled vehicle, which is not a motor vehicle, whilst over the prescribed limit”.

Powell risks losing his driving licence along with a hefty fine but some argue that crimes committed in one vehicle category should not affect your licence for another; with the right legal aid the rugby star could get off the hook but will most likely need a strong defence case.

If Powell can avoid prosecution for drink driving he may still face charges for theft as he did not own the golf buggy and there is no confirmation that he took it with any permission of the hotel. If the Hotel did have a part to play the fiasco could turn into a whole other ball game.
